The Uriel Gundam was a secret project from a scientist who wanted to help end war, but by the time he was finished a peace had been made. The Gundam was stored on a abandoned colony that would be hard to find by anyone. Years later it was found during a full scale rebellion of the space colonies vs. the earth and reactivated for use to defeat the enemies of the rebellion.
